Greetings DVP1,

 

 

 

I hope this message finds you all doing well. I’ve taken some time off recently to reflect and recharge. Over the past three years, I hope I’ve demonstrated how much I truly love and care about our community.

 

However, I am just one person supporting 274 homes along with numerous outside vendors. I serve at the pleasure of the DVP1 HOA BOD and in my role as one of your DVRA Directors, and at this time I feel I can no longer give 100% in the way this community deserves.

Over the next month, I will begin transitioning some Community Engagement duties to the DVP1 HOA BOD and Committee Chairs. I am working closely with them to ensure this process is as seamless as possible. Over the years, I have asked—and at times even begged—for volunteers. While some have stepped up, only a small number have remained consistently involved. To those individuals, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation for your continued support.

Zoom Meetings

​

DVP1 offers Zoom meetings to homeowners as a courtesy. They are not required by our Governing Documents or Florida Statute 720. As with any technology, occasional glitches are inevitable, and I address them as quickly as possible when they arise. There is no effort by Community Engagement or the DVP1 HOA BOD to limit transparency.

Additionally, I regret having to disable the chat feature during our last Zoom meeting. Unfortunately, some participants used inappropriate language and made unacceptable comments. Please remember to remain respectful—threats or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated.

Please leave a voicemail if your call is not answered, as I do not always have the plat phone on me. Voicemails will be forwarded to the appropriate committee or BOD member. If the matter falls under my responsibility, I will return your call personally.

Previously, the DVP1 BOD and committee placed a temporary hold on violations while the pool fence and roof project was underway, as common areas were not in compliance. Now that the project is complete, violations will resume enforcement.

When reporting a violation, you must include:

The specific bylaw or rule being violated
Your name and address
The address of the property in question

The Fun Committee

The Fun Committee would like to thank everyone who supported our efforts over the past three years. Our mission was to provide free social events and create opportunities for neighbors to come together and enjoy positive community experiences.

While this work has been incredibly rewarding, it has also been very demanding. At this time, the committee has been disbanded.

All donated equipment has been returned to the homeowners who generously contributed. Remaining supplies will be removed from the pool area to free up storage space as requested by the BOD. If you have donated equipment that has not yet been returned, please contact Community Engagement via email.
